When I was a kid, I didn’t know I was building resilience. I thought I was just trying to save a princess.

Jump. Miss. Die. Start again.

No shame. No punishment.

Just:

Try again.

Learn the timing.

Adjust the pattern.

Keep going.

Mario gave me a space where failure wasn’t danger ~ it was feedback. A space where I stayed in the field no matter how many times I got it wrong.

He taught me:

~ How to keep moving under pressure

~ How to learn by doing, not performing

~ How to start over without collapsing

He didn’t stretch me.

He sealed me.

From the inside out.

Now when life glitches or falls apart, I don’t freeze. I press A. I respawn.

I start the level again ~ not from scratch, but from memory.
